The below information, in accordance with Article 31(2) of the Solvency II Directive, aims to fulfil the GFSC’s commitments to transparency and accountability through the public disclosure of key supervisory information. This disclosure is designed to be easily accessible and comparable among supervisory authorities. It covers the following common areas:
- The texts of laws, regulations, administrative rules and general guidance in the field of insurance regulation within Gibraltar;
- The general criteria and methods, including the tools developed in accordance with Article 34(4), used in the supervisory review process as set out in Article 36;
- Aggregate statistical data on key aspects of the application of the prudential framework;
- The manner of exercise of the options provided for in this Directive;
